The Journey
My journey in recovery started when I was 22. Addiction started for me when I was 17. I started drinking to fit in and then I realized I liked the feeling. I was able to escape from my problems temporarily. The first time I drank I got drunk and went into a blackout. I hit bottom quickly. I wasn’t someone who stayed out there and used for years which I thank God for that. My heart goes out to anyone who is still out there suffering from addiction. There is hope Please get help.
